A Nokia Phone with Android: I like the sound of that...

Nokia has always been rejecting the possibility of using Android on its smartphones, but this might change if Windows Phone 8 fails .

In an interview aired on a Finnish TV, Risto Siilasmaa, a member of the Nokia board of directors, said that Android is the company's "backup plan" if Windows Phone 8 fails.

However, he also added that he is satisfied with how things are currently shaping up for Windows Phone 8 and switching to Android probably won't be required. Microsoft and Nokia are betting on more features and less bugs to turn things in their favor.

Many people are going to be happy if in fact Nokia joins the Android camp and starts manufacturing some truly high-end devices. However, this events seems unlikely as the contract between Nokia and Microsoft is said to contain some clauses, which forces Nokia to focus all their effort on Windows Phone.

Sony began seeding ICS update

Sony has began seeding the Android 4.0 ICS update to its 2011 lineup of Xperia smartphones. The first handsets to get the treatment are the Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and Xperia ray in Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Finland and Norway.

Sony will further update on availability of the update in more markets. The rest of the Xperia handsets from last year are scheduled to get updated in May/June.

Angry birds SPACE what is that????

Well this is no gadget but because of this google sold many gadgets, we all know this thing as the ANGRY BIRDS !!!!


And they are back better than ever in a new form, is is called Angry Birds SPACE and it is almost here and I am waiting for it eagerly to play on my phone as soon as I could, but we will get it on 22nd of March till that time all we get is teasers from Rovio of this gorgeous looking Game



Seriously look at the poster on the Left, won't you be a little excited after looking at that.. I am excited after that but still March 22 that's when it is scheduled to released so WAIT till then.
Talking about Angry Birds RIO was too if you haven't played it yet, do give it a shot its a nice game to play on your phone.

Well atleast they gave us a date its not that bad.. I think a little excitement for anything is always good. The videos which they have shown so far has been amazing, I loved the Space Station one... I seriously did, the gameplay looks amazing for sure a lot different from all the angry birds in the past not taking anything away from them, they were amazing too but we do need some change in the end....

After LG 4X being announced how i look at my 2X...

Well I knew this one was coming when I bought my phone but did it stop me no it didn't.. Do i regret it now?? no I don't regret it a single bit.. LG Optimus 2X was one of the best decision ever...
I also like to be honest 4X seems amazing phone on paper but is that a fact we will know soon about that one too, not only through this blog but when we hear from some of its users...



I love my phone in every regard as a gaming phone, for calling, media playback watching movies on it is one of the best experience ever on phone!!! The 4-inch screen looks amazing..

I have played games like NFS-Hot Pursuit, GTA and Spiderman on my phone...


Now comparing both of the phones

Screen:
2X uses a 4-inch screen and it is one of the beautiful phone I have ever used...

4X uses a 4.7-inch screen, after reading that I was like are you kidding me 4.7 inch...well at that size it is not called a phone and cannot be even used like one... and that is a fact!!! but still can provide an amazing movie watching experience and that is a fact too..

Camera:
Both Phone uses the same camera so nothing to compare...

Processor:
This is the only place where I feel there is actual difference but still there is something, I will talk about later...
2X uses 1Ghz Dual core processor which was awesome one year ago, but now is it??
yes it is still awesome but I cant say the same what the situation will be one year from now.. I just cant say anything about the future, no one can...

4X uses 1.5Ghz Quad core processor for which I have no words.. literally I am out of words...

but if you look at it this phone has enormous power but will you ever be able to use all that power... in a way 6GHZ the answer is with you.. that is even more powerful than the computer from which I am posting this blog...
Note: with that much amount of processing power also comes a huge cost of the phone.. so is it wise to but the Phone by which you get bored in a few months...
Its not just about power but also about the design of the phone and the way it overall looks..

who will save Kindle now???

After Amazon launched their $199 Android device into the tablet space, ASUS showed that they can pull off the same trick with the 7-inch, $249 quad-core Tegra 3 MeMO. According to Google executives, there are ongoing talks within the company about building the first Nexus tablet.


It’ll come in two variations, a 7-incher, which will compete directly with the Kindle , and a 10-inch, which, would aim directly at the iPad’s throne.


The possible specifications $200 7-inch (1280×800) Nexus slate is said to pack a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, which will make the latest Android release fly, providing “pure Google experience”. Production of the device will start this April and be ready to hit the shelves in June.

Galaxy S II Users Rejoice

The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Galaxy S II has been announced and it seems that the wait is soon to get over. Samsung did earlier mentioned that its S II, along with a few more Samsung devices will be getting the update in March...



A Samsung importer in Isreal have revealed on their Facebook page that the update will arrive on March 15. Here is the translated quite from Facebook:
We promised that we're working on it. You waited patiently. On 15 March it comes: the Android version 4, ICS, tens of thousands of the devices purchased GALAXY SII cellular companies in the country or directly from us. We here are very excited for the launch, hope you :)




So there is a chance you might get the update sooner or later but you will get sometime around that date...
